Celtic Spiral

The best-known Celtic motif dating back to the 5000 year old tomb complex at Newgrange.

Originally symbolized the Eternal Cycle of Life, Death & Rebirth. The spiral has come to represent the Great Goddess and her threefold manifestation of virgin, mother and crone.

The meaning behind the anti-clockwise spiral is sometimes interpreted as the passage from the inner to the outer self. An anti-clockwise spiral is thought to symbolize the passage from the inner self to the outer soul. This Celtic single spiral is thought to show the development, or growth of a person over time and maybe connected with cosmic energy.

I have used raw copper wire wrapped in an Celtic spiral, I have hammered it for effect, it can be worn both ways.

I have applied an antique finish to the copper and hand-polished it to enhance its rich and vintage appearance.

This piece measures 50mm.

This pendant will come on a black adjustable cord and gift boxed beautifully as a gift to yourself or someone (else) special.

Alternatively if you are interested in purchasing a chain, you can find them in the Chains section of my store. If a chain is purchased I will still include the cord.

By purchasing from my shop you acknowledge that you have read and accept all of my shop policies.
